Anibal Alvear Head Coach

With over 20 years of fencing experience as both a professional fencer and a coach, Anibal moved to the United States in 2013. He is the owner and founder of South Brooklyn Fencing, Prior to his club's opening, Anibal worked as a coach at other club in Brooklyn (2013-2016) and worked in clubs in NJ, USA, Campobasso. As a club coach for the past 10 years, his students have won numerous competitions in national and international tournaments, Anibal is also a FIE certified referee since 2014 the higher level that can be obtained.

Anibal’s talent as a coach is reflected in the success of his students in national and international competitions, including medallion at numerous South American championships, Pan American Championships and winning National Championships.

Beside producing great fencers as a coach, Anibal achieved sustained national and international acclaim himself as a fencing competitor and was a frequent podium finisher at many high level tournaments.

Timur Yuldashev Coach

Timur is our youngest coach. Very enthusiastic and works well with the youngest of our students. Well known in the fencing community himself, has taken a part in assisting our coaches, Running group classes & Private Lessons
